Week 3
I found the use of Headlines and taglines worked really well in these posters as they round up exactly what the poster is meant to portray. This is important to think about for my poster in order to make it strong and powerful.

The following collection of posters are addressing the same issue in similar but different ways.
This series of posters are called 'Water is life' and they address the issue of water wastage and the need to be more conscious of our water usage. They all include the phrase 'Water is Life' but in each one the mood has been changed with different elements like colours, scale, text and image.
These two posters address saving the arctic animals. One has bold powerful text and uses a fist to symbolise power and triumph, telling us to take action. A polar bear has been warped into the fist, making the familiar unfamiliar, but also is letting us know (as well as the text) this poster is about arctic animals. The second poster makes the familiar unfamiliar buy incorporating drips into the image of the penguin. This portrays the fact the arctic animals are dying away slowly. This is a more dramatic way of addressing the issue.
